Thank you for your comment. That building is the "City Hall" or "Town Hall" the biggest building on the "Grand-Place" here in Brussels !

Jolie perspective accentuée par les faisceaux; en parlant de lumière, la prise a vraiment été bonne (car je pense que la nuit commençait ou venait de tomber?). J'ai remarqué que tu travailles beaucoup dans ces conditions (cf Place Rogier que j'aime beaucoup aussi); tu utilises quoi comme appareil photo?

Merci pour ce commentaire. La nuit vient de tomber, il est 17h30 fin décembre. Cette image fait partie d'une des galeries que j'ai commencées : Coloured Nights. J'utilise un "LUMIX FZ 50"

It's not really an hotel ! In French, "hôtel de ville" means : "City hall" or "Town hall", it's the place for weddings celebrations and so on...

This photograph is absolutely amazing! The lights, colors are breath-taking. I thought this was a cathedral, until I read your title. Would love to seei t in person. HAve been to Brugge ( spelling?) 20 some years ago, loved the area then. Distant cousins live there.

J'aime le côté teintes douces de celle-ci, c'est assez rare pour des illuminations qui sont généralement de ccouleurs vives. La netteté es très bonne aussi.

Je te dirais bien d'arrêter ta visite là si tu ne veux pas être déçue !
L'image suivante est "Flash" au niveau couleurs !
Le netteté de cette image est bonne et meilleure que la suivante, il y a plus de lumière et j'ai pu réduire la pause.

wonderful light - works really well with the soft grey (wet?) Brussels night...
I also like the compositional elements of everything drawing up and into a point: the christmas trees, the turrets, and the intersecting lights.
